- Read and discuss a captivating graphic novel.

- Expand your vocabulary (emotions, family, identity, history, memory, resilience).

- Practice grammar in context:

- Master alternating the different past tenses (Passé Composé vs Imparfait)

- Make hypothetical sentences using the Conditionnel Présent

- Express opinion using the Subjonctif Présent

- Expressions of cause, consequence and goals

- Direct and indirect speech

- Passive Voice

- Strenghthen your conversational and writing skills with creative activities !

The graphic novel adaptation of *Petit Pays* brings Gaël Faye’s powerful childhood story to life through striking illustrations. Follow Gabriel, a young boy growing up in Burundi in the 1990s, as his innocent world of family, friends, and play is transformed by the outbreak of civil war and the Rwandan genocide.

The combination of text and visuals makes complex emotions, cultural context, and historical events easier to understand, offering learners an immersive and engaging way to practice French, enrich their vocabulary, and reflect on themes of identity, memory, and resilience.

- Familiarise yourself with French sounds and words
- Ask basic questions
- Survive in a French café
- Use basic verbs in context
- Talk about your interests

My group classes are limited to **6 students maximum** to ensure a supportive and personalised learning environment.
